Is It Really Unbreakable?
If you ask any real authority of Cryptography if there is such a thing as "unbreakable encryption", they will be loathe to say, "Yes". This is because every time in the past that someone thought they had "unbreakable encryption", someone else came along and ... broke it.
But, consider this: Away RJN Cryptography uses as its core alogarithm, AES (Rijndael). We use it as it was originally intended. No watering down, no modifications, no compromises. It was invented in 1998 and for the next two years was subjected to unbelievable scrutiny and testing by the Cryptographic community. No one broke it and no one came even close to saying they were onto a method to break it.
The conclusion was that Rijndael was as good as encryption could get. That was why the US government chose it as it's Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) in 2000. As of now (2011), it has not been broken or compromised in any way.
